Importing data models into Subversion
Data models which have previously been created as in Chapter 5, The Blueprint, and Chapter 6, Analyzing the Requirements, can be imported into Subversion. Subversion acts as a storage mechanism for the data models.
Getting ready
In Chapter 5, The Blueprint, and Chapter 6, Analyzing the Requirements, you created some data models. Find the folder location of these data models on your hard drive.
How to do it...
Information can be imported into Subversion. This process makes a copy of your information on your hard drive, and places it within the repository of Subversion.
1. In Oracle SQL Data Modeler, click on the Versioning menu and select Import Files:
2. The Import to Subversion Wizard will appear. Click on Next:
3. Select the destination folder for your data model, and click on Next:
4. Select the source folder for your data model, and click on Next:
5. Select any filter, and click on Next:
6. Deselect Perform Checkout, and click on Next:
