In 2009, Microsoft came up with the idea to introduce a self-service business intelligence platform by announcing several BI add-ins for Microsoft Excel, such as Power Pivot, Power Query, and Power View. Following this, the Microsoft BI platform has silently evolved and Microsoft has presented a complete platform called Microsoft Power BI.

Microsoft Power BI is a growing platform for business reporting and data analysis. In this chapter, we want to discover how to use Power BI services to analyze data from Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
