Welcome to Unlock Your Creativity with Photopea!

You’ll learn the essentials for photo editing and design, layer effects, retouching, and arranging images with enticing text, as well as the overall fundamentals that pertain to any photo editing software in a layered step-by-step process. Each essential task will build up your skillset to execute features as they gradually advance. This will create an organized, fun, and effective way of learning how to use Photopea.

Photopea has gained popularity over the last several years, as a free open-source image editing application, packed with amazing features. As an experienced graphic designer evolving to multimedia, I have worked in a number of different software applications over the years, and was honored to have the opportunity to share some of my education and work experience related to image editing, illustration, and so on, in Photopea.

I had many obstacles to overcome in trying to get this publication complete. These included moving to a new house the same week I was scheduled to get started on the book, adjusting to a work schedule that is the opposite of the 9-5, being a father of twin toddlers, and other things I couldn’t make up… the list goes on.

Anyway, I’m glad I pressed through to complete the book, and hope that you find it helpful and inspirational!
