Sharing your files with others
Whether you’re collaborating with other producers, swapping ideas with bandmates, or sending tracks to a mixing studio, sharing files you created within Studio One is an important skill set that comes with its own set of best practices.
In this section, we will take a look at different scenarios where you’d want to share your files, considering the most effective method of sharing in each scenario.
Sharing with a collaborator who has Studio One
If you’re collaborating with a fellow producer who also has Studio One, you will get the best mileage by sharing your Song folders with them. That way, your collaborator will be able to work directly on the document and send it back to you, eliminating the need for any conversion or rendering.
To share a Song folder with a collaborator, do the following:
- Open your Song.
