Summary

The goal of this chapter was to present the methods to leverage each object of the section to support the business analysts in creating professional executive dashboards. This chapter began with the methods for creating a new Dashboard and an overview of the Dashboard layout. The chapter continued with an overview of the different objects that can be added to a report and the methods for adding report content. The chapter examined the methods for configuring and using live charts and gauges, demonstrating the different options that can be added to enhance and modify each object. The chapter concluded with an overview of working with Controls as well as creating a dashboard with an interactive control and custom programming to filter the objects shown on the Dashboard.
