Creating Dashboard sections
Dashboards are added to the document by selecting the New Dashboard item from the Insert menu. When a new Dashboard section is added, the dashboard object appears at the top of the document above all other section types. The Dashboard section is query independent, where content can be added to the dashboard from any section in the document. Dashboards can also be duplicated by right-clicking on the section name in the Section Catalogue and selecting Duplicate section. The default name of the section when added is Dashboard and renaming and removing the section is consistent with the methods of renaming and removing other sections in the document demonstrated in the Chapter 6 in the Creating Pivots section.
