Communications elements – networking

It is time to understand the communication pathways. This is certainly one of the most intriguing components of Outposts. If you understand how AWS networking works, with Regions and components including VPC, Security Groups, and Network ACLs, then you know that AWS networking is a stunning piece of communications engineering that unsurprisingly extends to AWS Outposts.

Let’s look at one physical networking switch:

AWS will run its specific features and leverage Juniper technologies for the switch to deliver the underlying infrastructure.
