Designing a solution
When thinking about how to build a solution that would process identity, I immediately thought of some sort of an event registration app or scenario that would require identity verification or validation—and it seemed like a great idea.
Many organizations host events. While some event registrations may be internal (such as a large organization’s yearly technical or sales conferences) and likely have little need for identity verification, many events are industry- or topic-focused, drawing in attendees from a myriad of companies. This seemed like a perfect target scenario.
I had an idea in my head of how I wanted this solution to work. However, when working with emerging technology products, sometimes the things you want to do don’t exactly line up with the capabilities of the products. As a solution designer, it’s important to be flexible and have a mindset that allows you to be able to pivot when you identify roadblocks.
