Creating a function for an integrator


Now we need to create a function that we can add it to a menu, so that our integrator will be displayed in a menu for a given responsibility. Desktop integrator will create a function for us automatically, when we run the integrator as follows.

How to do it…

To generate a function for our integrator, perform the following:

  1. Switch to the Desktop Integration Manager responsibility.

  2. Query back the Party Upload integrator.

  3. Select the integrator and click on the Preview button.

  4. Select Excel 2010, and click on Next.

  5. Click on the Save button.

  6. In the Shortcut Name field, type a name for the integrator, for example, XXHR Party Integrator.

  7. Check the Save to Shortcut List and Save to Form Function checkboxes, then click on Apply.

How it works…

When we check the Save to Shortcut List checkbox and then click on Apply, a form function will be automatically generated. The function will be created with a prefix of BNE_. We can find the function that has been created, as it will...
