Creating applications and deployment types
When we deploy applications, we have significantly more granular control of how they are installed, as well as confirmation that the application is truly installed (instead of just a success or fail return code). However, with additional functionality, we sometimes encounter additional complexity. Applications in CM are state-based, which means that CM will determine if an application is installed (or not) on a regular basis. In CM, application state is verified on a weekly basis (and can be modified in the Client Agent Settings configuration).
