In this chapter, we covered the first part of the Deploying and Managing Virtual Machines objective by covering how to create and configure VMs for Windows and Linux. You learned about the various aspects and parts that are created when you deploy a VM in Azure. We also covered how to automate the deployment of VMs using scale sets and ARM templates.
In the next chapter, we will continue with the second part of the Deploying and Managing Virtual Machines objective by covering how to manage Azure VMs and VM backups.
