Sharing your flow

Sharing a flow lets your colleagues manage your flow. This ensures the flow is managed even if the creator of the flow leaves the organization. The flows that have been shared with you will appear under Shared with me tab.

Getting ready

You should have a valid Power Automate license. You should be owner of the flow that you wish to share.

How to do it..

To share a flow,

  1. Select the flow you want to share by clicking on the radio button on the left.
  2. Click on Share option from the command bar, or choose the Share option from the context menu.
  3. You will be presented with a screen that lets you specify the people you want to share the flow with.

  4. You will receive a warning that describes the permissions that the person is granted as part of the sharing process

How it works..

When a flow is shared, the new owner receives an email notification. The notification has a link that takes the new owner to the flow.
