Dealing with WPAs

Wifite is a Linux-only tool designed to automate the wireless audit process. It requires Aircrack suite, Reaver, and Pyrit to be installed to be able to run properly. It comes pre-installed with Kali. In this recipe, we will learn to use wifite to crack some WPAs.

How to do it...

Let's perform the following steps:

We can start wifite by typing the following command:

wifite

The preceding command shows a list of all the available networks:

We then press Ctrl + C to stop it. It will then ask us to choose the network we want to try cracking:

We enter our number and press Enter. The tool automatically tries to use different methods to crack the network and in the end it will show us the password...
