Google Cloud Solutions for Data Management
Handling data in production is no small feat, and organizations weave together a symphony of services in order to build ingestion pipelines, transformation pipelines, machine learning (ML) training pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses. Establishing a mature data culture in an organization entails the adoption of practices that may be new for technology teams and often involves the adoption of new technologies. These technologies often range from first-party cloud vendor-provided technologies to third-party licensed software, all the way to open source software (OSS). Larger organizations and even more mature start-ups will need to understand data architecture, the landscape of solutions, and cost-to-performance trade-offs relative to the application that will be serviced.
