Summary
In this chapter, we explored the various facets of digital transformation and best practices that enterprises can leverage to build a solid cloud foundation regardless of the deployment model. We reviewed how enterprises must start with a build-out of a security-first cloud foundation to ensure holistic enterprise security encompassing network, data, application, and asset management. We also learned how to rethink infrastructure modernization in a cloud-native ecosystem.
We then explored strategies that enterprises can leverage to modernize the application landscape and data ecosystem. Finally, we reviewed best practices to optimize cloud costs, maximize value, and improve cloud resource efficiency and performance.
