Technical requirements
To follow the different recipes in this chapter, you’ll need an Elastic Stack deployment that includes the following:
- Elasticsearch for data storage and search capabilities.
- Kibana for data visualization and stack management (a Kibana user with full privileges for Fleet and integrations is required).
- Integrations Server (included by default in Elastic Cloud deployments).
- As we will be deploying Elastic Agent throughout this chapter, setting up a virtual machine (VM) is necessary. For instance, to set up a Linux VM on Google Cloud, you can follow the guidelines provided in this tutorial: https://www.cloudskillsboost.google/focuses/56596?parent=catalog.
To quickly create a deployment on Elastic Cloud, you can refer to the Installing Elastic Stack on Elastic Cloud recipe in Chapter 1.
