Summary

In this chapter, you learned how the Build for Earth program was created and first delivered for the participants of the Hack for Earth Expo 2020 hackathon, and how it has developed since. We have tried to be transparent regarding all the choices we made along the way to make it easier for you to reflect on how you would want to set up your own acceleration program.

We have tried our best and made mistakes along the way. Of course, if we knew the magic formula for instant success, we would have used it. But then again, we might not have learned that much along the way without our mistakes. Or, in the words of Professor Edmondson – fail well, learn fast, repeat.
