Summary
In this chapter, we developed a low-detail version of the FN SCAR assault rifle by using some essential modeling tools. We learned, prepared, and used references, created objects, and used basic tools such as extrude, loop cut, grab, and so on. We also got a grasp of the Mirror modifier and bevels.
In the next chapter, we will increase the level of detail on our current model by reiterating every part and adding more sophisticated shapes and pieces. We will learn to use more modifiers and polygon modeling tools to create a complex and realistic model.
