Conclusion

The purpose of this chapter was to explain and demonstrate the processes of the Dynamics 365 FastTrack program. Here, we looked at the Success by Design methodology, discussed who should be on a project team, what the roles are of the customer, implementation partner, and Microsoft in a FastTrack project, and how each of the phases in the project should be executed.

In the next chapter, we’ll start to look at some of the areas where I saw and experienced solution and deployment issues. We’ll start by looking at integrations, which, based on my experiences, seem to be the area that always causes the most problems and biggest delays during a D365 implementation project.
