Creating a JPD project
As with other Jira products, such as Jira and Jira Service Management, JPD uses the notion of projects to store work and manage the people who perform the work.
JPD projects will store the work in terms of ideas, which is a potential starting point for a new product or product feature. People who work on ideas can either be creators, licensed users who create the ideas, or non-licensed contributors, who add supplementary data and sentiment as stakeholders, who can decide whether the idea is suitable for development.
How to do it...
One situation where a JPD project is created occurs when the JPD product is added by the organization admin. Let’s now follow up on what we saw in the previous recipe.
