Prerequisites and pre-reading
As you’d expect from a more advanced chapter, it helps if you’ve read the previous parts of the book! Much of what we will cover builds on Chapters 3 and 4. While we do a quick refresher, you’ll need access to the KIE sandbox with the extended services running, as described in Chapter 3.
We've previously recommended additional reading around Decision Models and Nocation (DMN) and the FEEL language. Rather than covering every single function, in this chapter, we’ll focus on areas that might not come naturally to an Excel Power User (such as lists). We’ll assume that you have taken a quick look at the following documentation:
