Creating, opening, and exporting animations
We’ve covered a great number of features and tutorials thus far in Photopea. For this section, we will cover the basics of how to animate. Being able to animate our still images for social media content and create ads adds another dimension to creating content. It also adds another level of storytelling that may potentially catch a viewer’s eye or interest more efficiently when executed well.
Most animated still pictures are created as GIF
files. GIF is an acronym for Graphic Interchange Format. GIFs are still images typically used to display graphics and logos on the web, especially on social media platforms that feature animated memes.
In order to animate GIFs, you need to animate them with a program that supports .gif
files and has animation capabilities.
