What is an operational plan?

An operational plan is a detailed, actionable framework designed to achieve specific goals through the coordination and deployment of resources. While the concept is critical in the military, it is also widely applicable in various non-military fields, such as business and investments. In a trading or investment-related environment, an operational plan mainly deals with managing resources, such as in Figure 9.1:
