As the manager of yourself, you need to develop a process where your choices are focused. The key to narrowing options down to the point at which you can make a good decision is alignment.
If you are aligned, you know what your strengths and weaknesses are. You know what it is you're trying to do. Then, the people and systems around you will support your intention.
