Death by boring project status update

Let's face it, the world would be a better place if there was even just one less boring project status RAG update!

Joking aside, there is much to be said about projects endlessly issuing rather boring updates. The need for regular project status updates is certainly valid, especially given that your updates can be the trigger for your next project stage-gate.

In today's world of multi-channel rich media, it's no longer necessary or acceptable to send dull, text-filled emails into busy people's already-full inboxes because, the minute it arrives, it's probably out of date – that is, if the recipient even reads it.
