Local admin rights
Microsoft recommends assigning standard user rights to the users of Cloud PCs. However, there might come a time when IT admins need to change the rights of the user. Let’s take a look at how these user rights are configured on a Cloud PC.
IT admins can easily configure the rights of the user on a Cloud PC by creating user settings objects in Microsoft Intune. In fact, the following three settings can be configured in a user settings object:
- Enable Local admin
- Enable users to reset their Cloud PCs
- Allow user to initiate restore service and set a frequency of restore points
These user settings objects are accessible at Microsoft Intune admin center > Devices > Windows 365 > User settings.
