Bot capacity planning
You might have read frequently in many journals and management books that planning is the key to success. It can be any project – even if you are planning your vacation, you need to plan ahead of time to make it successful and less stressful. Similarly, a lot of planning goes into making sure that the bot we are trying to deploy in production has enough capacity to sustain any fluctuations in the load. We need to make sure it doesn’t need immediate intervention.
Capacity planning of the bot starts well before we even start the design. It actually starts from the discovery and requirement phase itself. When we are trying to understand the existing or as-in process, the most important information for capacity planning is to know the daily, monthly, and yearly volume.
