Working online and offline in Prezi – the differences
As you may already know, working in Prezi online and offline is pretty much the same. There are only three differences:
- The user interface in Prezi for Windows/Mac is similar to the user interface for Prezi online, except for one thing—the Exit (actually it exits and saves) button that is in the top-right corner of the online Prezi window. Here, in Prezi for Windows/Mac:
- Saving is done by clicking on the Save icon
- Exiting is done by clicking the X in the top-right corner (Windows) or top-left corner (Mac).
As shown in the following screenshot, click on Save to save (1) and click on X to exit (2) your prezi in Prezi for Windows:
- When you are working in Prezi for Windows/Mac and are inserting a video file or a PDF file into your prezi, the program automatically goes online to Prezi.com to perform a conversion of the video or PDF file to a format that works for Prezi for Windows/Mac.
