Create a page level computation

Within the Page Definition page we can choose either of the Computations sections (in the Page Rendering or Page Processing columns) to create a new computation, using the create icon. The icon will lead us to the Create Page Computation wizard:

The wizard allows us to create a Computation for a specific item on the current page, an item on other pages of the application, or for an application level item. In the next wizard screen Item we are asked to choose a specific item for the computation:

Compute item

This is a mandatory field. Its type depends on the location of the computed item. In the case of an item on the current page we'll see a select list with all the current page items. For items on other pages, or application items, we'll see a popup LOV (List Of Values) item, which includes all the relevant items.

Sequence

This is a mandatory field that determines the order in which the computations will be executed within a computation point.
