Understanding Veeam ONE – installation and configuration
Installing Veeam ONE is a pretty straightforward process, and you are required to have the required ISO file, as noted in the Technical requirements section at the beginning of this chapter. Also, before installing, you need to check that you have the following prerequisites:
- Check platform and system requirements: Ensure that your virtual platform is supported and that the machine you are installing Veeam ONE on meets its hardware and software requirements. If you're using an advanced deployment with components on different servers, ensure they meet Veeam ONE's needs too.
- Check account permissions: Make sure the user account that Veeam ONE gets installed under has sufficient rights.
- Check ports: Make sure that all the required ports are open for communication between Veeam ONE's components, virtual infrastructure servers, vCloud Director servers, and Veeam Backup & Replication servers...
