Creating detection methods
This section will focus on more detailed configuration of detection methods. It will help IT administrators understand the importance of a properly configured detection method. The goal of a detection method is to check whether specific software is installed on a target system. When an application is deployed on a target collection, every member of the target collection is evaluated on a regular interval.
This evaluation is called application deployment evaluation cycle and can be triggered from the client machine or configured in the client settings. If an application is not installed on the target device and the application deployment evaluation checks this state, it will launch a reinstallation process of the application.
