The role of networking in XenDesktop®
Networking itself is a broad domain that includes various technologies covering physical/virtual appliances, specialized devices, and components, along with their management software solutions. Networking is needed and implemented in every system for communication. Networking components, protocols, and technologies are built on industry standards and operate mostly independent of the networked devices platform. XenDesktop, being Windows-based technology requires certain network configuration for its successful operation. Before we get on to networking, we'll take a high-level overview of users connecting and using virtual desktops over the network. This will give you an understanding of various networking used during various stages of successfully connecting and using virtual desktops.
