Chapter 4. Aperture in Action
In the previous chapters, we have mainly looked at the theory behind how Aperture works and how to use the software's toolset to complete individual tasks. In this chapter, we will put that theory into practice, and take a look at several real world examples of how you can use Aperture, both creatively and to solve problems. The aim of this chapter isn't to cover every possible problem or scenario that you might encounter, but instead to show you how to use the knowledge you have gained from the previous chapters, and put that knowledge into practical use. The goal is also to help you think outside the box and you may actually be surprised at just how much you can achieve within the software without having to jump over to another application, such as Photoshop.
In this chapter, we will look at the following examples of using Aperture:
- Recovering and controlling clipped highlights
- Fixing blown out skies
- Removing objects from a scene
- Fixing dust...
