How do I buy and download an eBook?

Where there is an eBook version of a title available, you can buy it from the book details for that title. Add either the standalone eBook or the eBook and print book bundle to your shopping cart. Your eBook will show in your cart as a product on its own. After completing checkout and payment in the normal way, you will receive your receipt on the screen containing a link to a personalised PDF download file. This link will remain active for 30 days. You can download backup copies of the file by logging in to your account at any time.

If you already have Adobe reader installed, then clicking on the link will download and open the PDF file directly. If you don't, then save the PDF file on your machine and download the Reader to view it.

This book is one of the best I have ever used outside the Classroom in a Book series for delving into the inner workings of Photoshop Elements 2024. However, it is missing a detailed explanation of refine edge brush, which is a wonderful tool for catching fuzzy image edges. Also, like every other book I have ever studied on Photoshop Elements, the author fails to realize that the Camera Raw app within Elements is NOT the same as the one he illustrates. It does not have the extended Detail panel. I also have an old desktop version of Lightroom, so I do have those capabilities there, but they do not exist within Elements. Adobe actually shows the different versions of the Camera Raw app on their website. Please remember this for your next book.Other than these shortcomings, I loved this book.

I delayed offering this review until I had ample time to work with both the book and PE 2024. I generally purchase a new edition of Photoshop Elements every 2 or 3 years and that allows enough time for a sufficient number of new features to be learned. At the same time I also add a new reference book because Adobe does a poor job of providing complete step-by-step instructions covering their excellent product.Until now, I have always considered the "bible" of PE reference books to be anything written by Scott Kelby. He does an excellent job for those of us with a basic, but not complete, understanding of PE. As soon as I bought my disc I looked for a companion guide by Kelby but was disappointed to learn he did not write one for this product. After doing my normal decent amount of research I decided to gamble on this book by Robin Nichols.I think both authors do an equally comprehensive job on providing and explaining hints on how to use PE to better your photographs. To appreciate the value offered one must have a basic knowledge of PE. If you are a beginner - don't start here. Purchase one of the "Dummies" books and work with it to develop a basic skill set. If you don't have a basic understanding of how to use PE, you will find this book, and probably others, too complex.This is NOT a cheap book, nor was Kelby's. But I have found Mr. Nichols work to be indispensable if you really want to learn PE and take your photos to a much higher level.

While the content is okay the print quality and paper quality is just awful. Very light print accompanied by faded looking pictures and graphics. Nothing like previous editions and consequently I am considering returning the book. Grossly overpriced for what I received.

For those who like to have a book in front of them when they are learning a program (like me), this is the one I recommend. I came across the author through an online course on Udemy and he is a gifted instructor.
