Summary
During this chapter, you created three different versions of a landing page design. First, you built a simplified wireframe version. This was useful to set the sizes of the page and figure out the place for the different elements. Then, you collected all the materials you could use from the previous chapters: the logo design, the icon set, and the illustration.
You used most of the components you created so far in the book and practiced resizing and rearranging them into a bigger, more complex design. This is how you built the desktop version of the website – then, after more resizing and rearranging, you turned that into the mobile version. This flexibility is the reason Inkscape works so well for web design! You can rescale and reuse elements creatively and effectively.
In the next chapter, you will learn about optimizing your workflow by combining Inkscape with other applications.
