Technical requirements

The technical requirements for this chapter are similar to previous hands-on technical chapters. A minimal technical background is required if you want to read along and understand the process. However, working alongside the examples and recreating the scenario requires additional technical skills. Working through previous chapters should be beneficial to get some necessary experience with AWS IoT Core, AWS Glue, and AWS IoT Greengrass. We dive deeper into getting better Modbus data and expand our AWS Lambda examples to decode that data. Knowledge of Python programming is a plus for lambda work. It will also be beneficial because we will dive deeply into analysis and model building using Python with a Jupyter notebook.
