Pursuing a hybrid cloud platform and building hybrid cloud applications combines the computing benefits of the private cloud along with the flexibility of the public cloud. The benefits that the hybrid cloud application can derive from the hybrid cloud platform depends on the amount of time and effort put into designing, developing, deploying, and monitoring the environment.
