Provisioning the AWS infrastructure

To ensure that this exercise is approachable for as wide of an audience as possible, we will be using ClickOps to provision all of the necessary infrastructure in AWS. ClickOps is the term used to describe the process of manually provisioning cloud resources using the provider’s native web console. As its name suggests, this process involves inputting all the necessary information using a keyboard and mouse. ClickOps is widely considered to be an anti-pattern in the world of DevOps, primarily because it is drastically more inefficient and prone to errors than using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). However, it is extremely helpful for individuals who do not know how to script, write code, or use the command-line interface.
