Deploying an app with all features
When you have created and tested an app in the prototype stage to your satisfaction, you can deploy it.
Let us understand the limitations of a prototype app first and why you should consider deploying your app. You can distribute a prototype app to only a maximum of 10 active users. With a prototype app, certain automation features are only available to the app owner. For example, when a bot sends an email or SMS, it only delivers it to the app owner in a prototype app.
When you deploy an app, you will need to subscribe to a paid subscription plan depending on the features you are using in the app and the number of active users you have for the app. As you have already learned in this chapter, the Plan requirements option under the Manage | Author tab allows you to know which subscription plan you will need.
