In this chapter, we elaborated on some important data considerations, such as measures, calculations, data restatements (of derived data), and data engineering designs for data science (including notebooks). In the various tools, extensions, and approaches presented, you can see a short list of what is possible in your solution. Many will be used in your development and production environments. The criteria you use when selecting one tool rather than another will be based on the capabilities your solution needs, which in turn drive the required features. Those features then drive the selection criteria for tooling.
