In this chapter, you learned how to migrate a Cacti system from a Linux to a Windows server.
You enhanced the backup script created earlier to create an architecture-independent complete backup. You also learned how to prepare a target Windows system for migration and restore the Cacti database. Finally you completed the migration by changing Linux-specific paths to new Windows paths.
You should now be able to plan, prepare, and execute the migration of a Cacti system to a new platform.
