Viewing and editing rail models
As mentioned earlier, our full corridor model may appear to abruptly change elevation down to 0.00', where it extends beyond our SRF – Existing Grade – From OpenSource Surface model. We’ll want to revisit this and make sure we update our COR – Railroad – Main Corridor model.
To do so, let’s navigate over to our PRV – Railroad – Main Profile and select the PRF – Railroad – Main Profile that our COR – Railroad – Main Corridor model is referencing for elevation purposes. Looking over at our Properties dialog box with PRF – Railroad – Main Profile selected, we can quickly identify the start (0+00.00') and end (159+18.36') station points.
Knowing these start and end station points, let’s navigate back to and select our COR - Railroad – Main Corridor model. Right-click in the model space and select the Corridor Properties…...
