Time for action – deploying the app to the Apple App Store
Perform the following steps to deploy the app to the Apple App Store:
If you have not already done so, create and download a distribution certificate. See the instructions from earlier in the chapter on creating a development certificate if you are unsure on this.
Before you can deploy your app, you need to register your app and upload your promotional material in iTunes Connect.
To create your app, log in to https://itunesconnect.apple.com/ using your Apple ID.
Select Manage Your Applications from the available options, then press Add New App.
Enter in the details of your app. SKU Number is your own identifier of the app. Continue and provide the promotional material, contact information, icon, and screenshots.
Note
You can edit this information before submission, but you do need at least an icon and a screenshot in order to create the app.
