With such a long history, it is no wonder that literally thousands of extensions are available for this flavor of Visual Studio. As a disclaimer, some of the extensions featured here are free, some have free trials, and others require payment.

If you are a web developer, this free extension may be of interest. It allows you to share a web application running on your local machine over the internet without having to deploy it to a public-facing web server. In other words, the Conveyor extension allows you or others to see it as though it was published online, when, in fact, the application is just running on your local machine.
