Some Anomalies
At this point, most of the processing and data should be familiar to the reader. However, there are some processes that have not yet been discussed, as they are not considered “mainline” processing. These include:
- • EXCLUSIONS – On some spreadsheets it is necessary to specify entire areas of the spreadsheet that need to be excluded from disambiguation processing. In these cases, the exclusion areas of the spreadsheet are defined.
- • DISPLAY DISTINCT COLUMNS – When database output is collected, it is possible for the same value to be read from the spreadsheet more than once. It is useful to see when duplicate values have been collected.
- • AUTOMATED SSDEF CHECK – Under normal circumstances, a spreadsheet is paired with definitions on a one-on-one basis. Occasionally, though, it is useful to load a lot of spreadsheets into the path queue and let the system try to automatically pair the ssdef data to...
