Joining a Team Chat channel
If you’re part of an organization with multiple channels, you may wish to join them. Some channels might be targeted toward company announcements such as Quarterly Revenue. Other channels may be a way to engage with a community such as Peloton Enthusiasts. Regardless, there is a way to search and join these public channels.
How to do it…
- Navigate to Team Chat in your top navigation bar.
- Click the + icon to the right of Team Chat. Then, choose Join Channel:

Enter which channel you wish to join. Search for keywords or topics.
- Once you have discovered the channel you wish to join, click the Join icon.
- The channel you just joined will now appear in the # Channels area in the left sidebar.
- Congratulations – you are a Team Chat channel Jedi!
