Home Screen
When you launch the Zoom client the first page displayed is the Home Screen:

This screen has 5 major functions:
- New Meeting – This creates a new Ad Hoc meeting with no participants other than yourself. Ad Hoc meetings are impromptu meetings that haven’t been scheduled, such as when a user wants to discuss something with another user via a quick unplanned meeting. You can invite additional attendees after the meeting has started.
- Join – This button joins an already established meeting. You will need to know the Zoom Meeting ID to use this function. This will have either been shared with you in a chat or email previously.
- Schedule – This schedules a future Zoom meeting allowing you as the meeting organizer to invite attendees and configure the meeting with things like Waiting Rooms, Meeting Recordings, and Chat.
