Extruding with Follow Me

The Follow Me tool is the second native SketchUp way to extrude an object after the Push/Pull tool. The importance of the Follow Me tool – and its difference from the Push/Pull tool – lies in its ability to extrude around curves and irregular lines. Unlike the Push/Pull tool, the Follow Me tool can go around corners and curves without difficulty, creating a beautifully linked extrusion:
