Rearranging steps using the path lane

For most prezi users, the process of creating a prezi inevitably includes a large number of edits. Even if you spend a lot of time planning your prezi, you will need to rearrange some steps. Fortunately, the path lane makes it easy.

Getting ready

In the path lane, it is very easy to move a step to a new position. To do so, perform the following steps:

  1. Open a prezi that has multiple elements on the canvas as well as a path.
  2. Click on Edit Path to switch to path mode.

Now the path lane is visible on the left side of your screen.

How to do it…

To move a step in the path lane, here is what you do:

  1. In the path lane, locate the step that you want at another position in the order of steps.
  2. Using your mouse, hold and drag this step upwards or downwards to its new position.
  3. Drop the step here by releasing your mouse.

The step is now located at a different another position in the order of the path.
