The creative writing e-portfolio – My Hometown
Memoirs and autobiographical reflections are an excellent way to engage students in a creative writing project and are something that they can easily share.
Instructions to students
You will upload and post the following documents and files in your e-portfolio:
- Early memory: What are your earliest recollections of your hometown? Please post a 500-word reflection of an early memory of your hometown. Be sure to incorporate several events and open with an illustrative scene. As you write, be sure to incorporate vivid descriptions and details.
- Edgy memory: What memories make you uncomfortable? Why? Explore the issues that surface as you write about something that makes you feel a bit on edge. Be sure to incorporate descriptions of the key people....
